Where's Reed????

THERE HE IS!!!


I was cleaning up the kitchen after lunch the other day and realized Reed was being really quiet....well, I decided to look for him and I found him in Anna Grace's baby bed! I could not help but laugh! He had managed to climb up in the recliner next to the bed so he get in! I know this because after I got him out he showed me how he got in the bed! That little booger is ALWAYS up to something;)

A Visit Home

My parents came to visit 2 weeks ago and took us back home with them....yes, we were ALL piled up in their SUV!!! It was actually very comfortable though! It was about the only way I would travel right now....so I could have lots of help! We actually had a WONDERFUL trip home....they were both on their BEST behavior!! It was nice to be able to sit back and play on my IPAD;) We only stopped one time to get gas, feed Anna Grace, and Reed could get a SNACK!!! Mom told me he LOVED picking out his snack at the gas station;) I am not sure about everyone else, but I get really giddy about going back home! It is such a wonderful feeling to me! My sister works in Camden a few days a week and so we got to spend some time together too!!! I miss her soooooo much and love getting to visit any chance we can get! I would have enjoyed it more if I had felt better, but at least Nana, Pops, Lolly, Big Daddy, and Aunt Lindsay helped ALOT! My mom and I decided to head back to Fayetteville early so I could see the doctor! It was probably a smart move;) I was completely hoarse, ran fever, and had a terrible sinus infection/head cold! Mom stayed with me a few days to help out once we got back to Fayetteville. I GREATLY appreciate all of the help for sure!!! I don't know what I would do without my wonderful family!!! Yall are the best!





Isabella and Reed always get SOOOO excited to see each other.....it is so cute to watch them when they see each other for the first time!!! They just love on each other, hug, and giggle and jump up and down!




Reed talks about what he and Pops will be doing on the way home.....such as Oil Well, pond, ducks, fish, park, cart, and Bella.....which means they ride the golf cart to see the ducks and fish in the pond or creek...go see Pops oil wells, play at the park and of course Bella rides too!




Reed and Bella all bundled up....it was really cold that day! It did not keep them from going for a ride though!




Bella got some mickey mouse stickers in the mail and did not want to part from them...




I had to promise her I would take GOOD care of them while they were riding...so she finally let me keep them safe;)

and went swinging together!!




Reed wanted to swing in the BIG swing too and he wanted to go HIGH!









I think Reed was trying to convince Bella he could drive the golf cart...ha!

I think Bella is teaching Reed about the dangers of driving without POPS!!! She is very cautious;)

Lovin' on Anna Grace

Chuck-E-Cheese!

A few weeks ago, my parents came to visit and we took Reed and Anna Grace to Chuck-E-Cheese!!! It has been so cold lately, and we have been needing to get out of the house so it was nice! Reed of course.....had a BLAST!!! We ordered pizza and let him run wild! He LOVED riding the horse...he stayed on there for at least 4 rides straight....this poor little girl wanted to ride and he just would not get off!!! Finally, we made him! We stayed a long time until Pops had to drag him out of there kicking and screaming! He later took a really good nap! YEAH! Anna Grace barely made a peep...she was a good girl;)

Anna Grace.....2 months

Anna Grace turned 8 weeks old about 2 weeks ago and it has literally FLOWN by!!! She is absolutely precious and a wonderful baby!!! I just thank God every day for blessing us with a good baby;) Reed was colicky as an infant and it was really hard for several months. He did not sleep through the night until close to 6 months. However, he sleeps like a champ now for the most part: 7:45PM-7:30-7:45AM and naps EVERY DAY for me for usually 2 hours! She has already slept through the night at 8 weeks- once and 9 weeks- twice.... If she does get up to nurse it is only one time a night....which is good for me. She has strawberry blonde hair that sticks straight up especially after her bath! Some people think she looks like Reed but I think she looks like her cousin Isabella as a baby. She is starting to smile and coo at us and it just makes our day! She is starting to grab her toys under her play gym. Cody is so good with her....very comfortable and natural with the second baby! She is our little chunky monkey! She eats about every 3-4 hours. She usually can only stay awake for about 45 minutes to an hour after she eats and then back to sleepy town;) Big brother LOVES her too! I think he will be the protective type when they get older....he always wants to make sure she is okay if she is not in the room with us....it's pretty sweet! We love to hold her and she enjoys being held as well....she is a really good cuddler;) We go to the doctor next week...had to cancel the other day because we were out of town. Will post stats soon!

Cooking with Momma

Reed loves to feel like he is helping me soooooo I decided to let him help make my favorite cookies.....Oatmeal chocolate chip! He LOVED it because I let him pour in the ingredients and gave him the left over oats and brown sugar ....yes sugar to play with while I was finishing up! It was our first time to actually cook together and it was FUN!!! I think we stayed in our PJ's pretty much all day because we were snowed in!!!
