Magic Springs

We decided to have a family vacation this year in Hot Springs. Since Reed was only 5 months this summer, we thought we should skip the beach and go to the lake. We stayed at my dad's friend's lake house. It was very relaxing but not long enough....We decided to make the most of our trip and check out Magic Springs one morning with the kiddos since the guys were playing golf. Lindsay and I took Isabella down the water slide...Well, she liked it so much she wanted to do it again and again and again... Isabella had a blast and so did we!! Reed had a nice long nap in the shade with Lollie while Isabella, Lindsay, Mom, and I floated in the lazy river...so nice! When Reed finally woke up from his nap I let him play in the water. We went under this deal that squirted water everywhere...he loved it....My sister and I both agreed that Magic Springs sure has come a long way from when we were kids...Whoever decided to put a water park in knew what they were doing. It was the only place to be since it was soooo HOT! We enjoyed ourselves and wore the kiddos out early!

Reed has just now started to really giggle when I tickle him.... It is the cutest thing! Cody and I had to capture it on video to show you how funny our little man is....ENJOY!

What a Pretty Day for Pictures!

Fireworks on the 4th of July!

We went to Springdale Country Club and sat on the golf course to watch an AWESOME firework show this year. Before we left, we had a little redneck get-together in our garage. Again, I was not sure how Reed would do but he actually sat in his Daddy's lap the entire time and watched them. He was so sleepy by the end of the night he crashed on our way home about 10:00....the best part of it all....He slept through the night! Anyone who is wondering.... No.. Reed is still not sleeping through the night!

Reed's First Baby Pool

Cody and I bought Reed his first baby pool. He loves his bathtime and outside so now he can have the best of both worlds! Nana and Pops came up for the July 4th weekend and we cooked out one night and let the kiddos play in the pool. They both loved it!

My parents came up for July 4th weekend and Lindsay and I decided to take the kiddos to Fun City. I wasn't sure how Reed would do there because he is still too little for everything but he LOVED it! Isabella wanted to ride all of the rides and she wanted Reed to get on with her. It was so funny watching them together. Reed also enjoyed watching all of the kids running around and the lights on all of the games. They had a blast but not as much fun as we did... I think the adults had more fun playing ski ball and shooting hoops and seeing who could win Isabella the most tickets. We would play and Isabella would wait for the tickets to come out. After it was all said and done she won a balloon, candy necklace, and a sucker for a total of 180 tickets.....WOW..what a way to lose your money! Oh Well, we had fun doing it! Enjoy the pics!
